Right, I've just signed up to another sports package here in the UK which gives me access to this malarkey, so who should I be supporting?

The front runners are: -

1. Collingwood - Nicknamed the Magpies I believe, like my proper football team Notts County, so have always been the result I'd look out for over the years if any.

2. Carlton - A relative (by marriage) gave me a Carlton cap when I was over for the 06/07 Ashes.

So come on, sell your club to me - who should I be following and why?

Hmmmm...erring towards Carlton in that case unless someone comes up with a convincing case otherwise, though they're doing pap this season and unlikely to make the play-offs aren't they?

Brisbane ...manufactured team built on other clubs rejects and left to sun themselves on the Gold Coast for 10 years ...picked up a few players and some history when they did the league a favor and obliterated merged with Fitzroy ...turned years of failure into success by actually drafting some good players and getting a great coach ...on the downward slide / rebuilding at the moment ...fans are all Billies who are bored with leeeeg or one of the many Vomits who have retired to Qbanjoland and need a fix of live footy

Bulldogs ...have one premiership in their history ...usually a good side without being outstanding ...tough working class tradition at the club ...supporters have less teeth than Collingwood fans

Melbourne ...last premiership 1964 ...are currently crap and will probably ne crap for a lot more years ...supporters aren't worries as they are too busy enjoying the snow ..club preisdent is an Irishman ...which completes the club's image as a total joke ...supporters all went to the top Melbourne private schools and for not knowing the players names 'Well played number 5'

Saint Kilda ...a Vomit version of Fremantle ...a team full of low draft picks and rejects from other clubs ...have the ability to play absolute crap against all expectations ...or to play well enough for a moral victory against a top side ...have won one premiership ...by a point ...against Collingwood...in 1966 ...not likely to add to that in the near future
