Some valuable runs being scored in last few overs,

1 4 1 . 2 | . . . . 4 . | 4 2

Proteas in big trouble here. Choking big time. Also shows how poorly they batted yesterday. They need to find a spinner and they need to learn how to play spin.

Dhoni stupidly throws his wicket away when his team needed him to battle on for another hour or two and support GinGan . . . stupid subi!

Perhaps Dhoni is a tad overrated. He doesn't seem to make many half tons, let alone tons. And fails quite a bit. When he gets a start he needs to cash in.

Like his chum Yuvraj Dhoni also plays an impatient stroke and loses his wicket.

These 2 got to understand that this isn't ODI cricket and such cameos won't be of much worth in test cricket.

the tails not particularly long. both hrby abd piyush can bat a bit, hopefully they stick around and support gangers....not like yuvi/dhoni who got out to rash shots

But why wildly charge the spinner 3 overs before the new ball with Harby next in? FFS!

Perhaps Dhoni is a tad overrated.
I think hardly anyone rates him as a test batsman, though his WKing is getting better with each passing day.

Seems an odd thing to do with no specialist bats to come, but I guess that's the way he plays.

I think some of the Saffers similarly perished. McKenzie and Harris had terrible rushes of blood.

Ganguly is playing such an important innings on a tough pitch and that too at a S/r of 70+.

Strangely enough many critics had written Ganguly off halfway through last test. I think SA had the perfect opportunity to take a huge initiative after winning the toss but their batting was not up to it. They needed Kallis to step up to the plate.

India will probably push on to win the test but as Roebuck suggested it's more of a reaction rather than solution for them. Everyone knows the Proteas are toast on one of these types of pitches but they would have been disappointed that they couldn't beat them on pitches that were more set-up for an even contest.

If SA want to stay in this they need to clean up the tail real quick. The money would have top be on India now with their superior spin attack.

Many would say no. I was disappointed with his output in Australia. He got 50 odd last test in a lost cause with a few lives along the way.
