You know what, that's exactly what you should be doing. Stroll on love, you've reached depths of boredom that many can't even aspire to.
So much love in the air.
As long as you never address me by calling me love, we should both get along well I suppose.

It's what sexist chaps in the UK call females. I could call you it if you like, but it will cost you £5 a go.

Dating is garbage
Arranged marriages are garbage

Sex is great though. It makes me feel all nice, and dirty at the same time.
Kind of like drugs, but without the morbid comedown.
Unless you've been persuaded to do something you really didn't want to do.

Re: Indian and Pakistani forummers . . .
I always miss all the good stuff.
In answer to tac's original question, yes the chances are that he will lose his relationship with his family. But the chances also are that it might not be for long, especially if he gives them grandchildren. A lot of Indian parents are all about drama - think low opera.
He's lucky that he's a man; for a daughter it would have gotten far more vicious.
He's 'unlucky' that he's fallen in love with an East Asian. He's 'lucky' he hasn't fallen for a black woman.
Our inherent racism decrees that , if the son should get marred to a foreigner, caucasians are 'best'. The daughter? Forget about it.
Having said that, India is probably a hundred score of cultures and beliefs. A lot of the old attitudes are changing quickly, urbanization and economic prosperity being the main reasons as TO said (or I think he said).
Tell your friend to suck it up if he wants to marry the woman. Chances are his parents will fall in line in a year or so.

Foreigners and other 'races' are going too far, marrying someone from another religion, region or language is also frowned upon still (probably was vehemently opposed before). We're so openly bigoted, it's crazy.
