It's quite an exciting spectator sport is badminton, it certainly beats the carp out of womens tennis.
Aye, was live - is definitely a decent TV sport, not sure about actually being there...

Not sure Tennis is such a great olympic event tbh, not with the US a few weeks away.
Crowds haven't been great either - mostly made up of 'volunteers'

How are team GB doing in the equestrian? Has Dick entered the ring yet? I bet the sports editors of the Sport, Sun and Star are licking their lips in anticipation.

Poms are certs for bronze now. Aussies need a Greg Norman style choke from the last German who is I think riding for 2 golds.

I'm on the case now, wrestling the remote off a kid on his school holidays hell bent on watching Drake and Josh took some doing. Although having tuned in for five minutes I think I prefer Drake and Josh. God it's boring, almost as boring as synchronised swimming. The toffee nosed, 'Oh I say, he's orrrrrrrrrrf' commentator isn't helping much either.

When does the cycling start? I want to see Cavendish in action.
I think it's one of the only events where Aus and GB go head to head as real forces.

Germans win the team and individual gold but the last German rider was farking lucky hitting a few fences without them falling. If one had fallen then the Aussie girl would have won individual gold.

Well, I'm just watching the women's weight lifting and only one of them appears to still have boobies, so they must be taking something.Merlin wrote:The Olympics.....PS. Any new drugs discovered yet?
