Jonathan Batty went off injured after ten balls of Nottinghamshire's innings. He was replaced by Scott Newman before lunch and then Dan Euston from Malden Wanderers afterwards.

Well, must admit I prefer the likes of Nottingham and even Brum to the wideboy slagheaps they call London and it's surrounding boroughs.

Adil Rashid the leading Yorkie wicket taker this season with 50* I see.... And in a very damp one too.... Second spinner for India anyone? Can't see Swann doing much better and would probably rate Rashid's batting above his even at the moment.
Going to be unpopular with the Notts lads no doubt....

It's unpopular with me. Don't think he's ready and even if he is, I wouldn't throw him into international cricket against the best players of spin.

Would say it's unlikely/unpopular among the majority myself and probably a season too early at least. But doubt Swann will get a game anyway (Like Sri Lanka). So why not make what could well turn out to be a sound long term investment and get Rashid out there for the experience?
When is

F*cknose. I doubt Swann will get a game either. Though 2 spinners played in India last time.
