Really turgid stuff ... 173-8
2 rpo and no batsman has even bothered to take a punt on attacking the bowling

Good day for Nottinghamshire all-round. If Durham manage less than three batting bonus points tomorrow (preferably 1 or 0), it's virtually in the bag as long as we don't lose.
Edit: And poor old Yorkshire look dead and buried! That'll teach 'em!

Graeme White was going to join Middlesex, but was told Jason Brown would be pushed for him. Seems we're trying to change our policy. Shame we've filled their places with gash like David Wigley. Did I say gash? I meant unbelievable wank.
Good day's work when we got rid of him.

Notts have got their noses in front: after Day 1 - looks like some bowler friendly pitches have been prepared - funny that.

Actually Trent Bridge wasn't a bad deck at all having caught a fair bit of it today. Notts didn't bowl a bad ball all day and Hants played like England facing a leg spinner - clueless...

I was thinking more of Taunton actually, judging by some of the comments on the BBC website. Still, it is Notts' title to lose.

Testament that a crab such as the Strauss 2008 vintage can score at 65-70 tells it's own story.
Seems like the crab was having such a feast on the dross being tossed at him,
that he refused the umpires offer of bad light and had to be dragged off the field screaming!
A 164* Crab sandwich anyone!

James Foster approaching his 3rd ton of the season
Make that about 900 runs @ 52 this season.
Got to be at least the 2nd keeper for the tests in India, shirley?

You under-sell the lad ... putting him behind the skinhead Prior in the pecking order.
I guess that's probably because Foster does play for the wrong '...sex' county!
Meanwhile at the Northampton dogtrack .... Shah approaches his ton as the Sexies cruise to 362 - 2 off 95 overs!

Teach 'em what, exactly? We've been all sorts of gash all season. The only surprise is that we've survived until the last game. As things stand the only thing we've got left to look forward to is watching your lot right royally stuff it up against Hants so Durham win the title. Not that I'm bitter or owt... yer tw@t!
