Oh sweetheart. He averaged 50 in CC last year, came in and sh@t himself.

What it proved was, no matter how well he was doing in CC, he just wasn't up to the task of Test cricket.

I don't put either Broad beans, Colly flower or Hog roast in my corned beef hash. Possibly mustard, but only if I'm feeling silly.

Come back David Graveney, all is forgiven...

mustard at 6?

A bloke who has averaged 25 in FC cricket this year? May as well play Read.

Mustard is good and he was my pick for the ODI side but not a 6 in test cricket

Swap him with Rashid then. Rashid is a better bat, but I'm not sure about him being second spinner, and batting at 6. Like you said when I compared him to Freddie - he's not the new Freddie. I wasn't really keen on picking Mustard at all, but it's going to be him or Prior, so...

Can't think of much worse than hard hands batting or keeping in SL. Something about hard hands.

Tea's quite good. I once had hash and vodka gravy. In a mug. With broccoli and cauliflower bits.

Foster would be a fair pick. But you'd ditch Panesar?

Shit. Panesar for Sidebottom considering we'll need Tremlett's height and bounce to try and unsettle the Lankans a bit.

Aye, they'll be so scared of his bouncers two feet outside off-stump and one foot over their heads. They may not even try to lift it over the slips.

To be fair to Tremlett, he was pretty damn impressive in the Tests. Deserves another go ahead of 'will he, wont he' Harmison.

He was alright/quite good. If he made the batsmen play he looked good. As it was, the Indian bats could leave for balls an over, when we needed them to play at every ball.

Meh. I can't think of a sensible one, so here's a totally pointless fark-continuity selection

Cook
Vawn
Ramps
KP
Sales
Colly
Rashid
+Read
Tremlett
Hoggy
Panesar

I'm not even going to bother to justify any of it. jocolor
