If I hear "rock and roll form of the game" one more time I'll spew.

They're all pissed as parrots. Aussies will watch anything when they're pissed. Even opera.Basil wrote:Apart from the 60k in the ground then?freddled gruntbuggly wrote:No, we did that because we really don't GAFF about T20s.Basil wrote:That'll be why Oz have picked Tait and YT then ?JGK wrote:BTW, this match is proving my theory that you need really quick (and full) bowlers or you need accurate spinners in JAMOTTIs.

I really really try to see the attraction of T20 but other than watching Warner on debut, that Aust innings was totally tedious.
It really is just a shit form of the game.
The only thing to look forward to now is seeing what Tait can do.

Aye, on the tedious finish. Still, have you got something better to do with 3.5 hours on a Sundy night?JGK wrote:I really really try to see the attraction of T20 but other than watching Warner on debut, that Aust innings was totally tedious.

Still, 183 is a good target for an exciting finish.

Tait is actually pretty exciting in the short forms. Kind of hoping he can break Kallis' wrist.

Given that there were 80 000 there last year, and about 75k expected tonight, the crowd might be termed a tad disappointing.Basil wrote:Apart from the 60k in the ground then?freddled gruntbuggly wrote:No, we did that because we really don't GAFF about T20s.Basil wrote:That'll be why Oz have picked Tait and YT then ?JGK wrote:BTW, this match is proving my theory that you need really quick (and full) bowlers or you need accurate spinners in JAMOTTIs.
Not holding the t20 WC in Aus might be regarded as a mistake in terms of the gate.

Here's summat funny.
The nob just introduced the Solo Thousand Dollars per six hit thing, and said 'here's tonight's sixes'.
The local Nein affiliate, which doesn't get paid by Solo, and doesn't run any of the 'Solo thirst crushing moments' during the rest of summer, cut IMMEDIATELY to commercials. We didn't get to see any of the sixes package.
Farqin tools.

Just remember, Cam White hasn't bowled yet. Plenty of time for the Saffies to grab this game.
