With all his reverse swing he'll get on helpful pitches... Rolling Eyes.

He'll get a call up next after taking snoozer wickets on lively pitches.

We'll be seeing Mahmood in the Ashes Rolling Eyes

I've seen the dross he churns out. Once he turns dross into gold, get back to me.

You don't sound like you have. You couldn't possibly deduce that his action is faulty unless you A) have never seen him bowl or B) haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about.

I agree about his action. It's his cricketing brain that worries me. Maybe I just got fed up with those embarrasing floaty slower balls...

35 wickets at 32.77 econ 3.55 last season says he didn't find much reverse swing. Then you have Kabir Ali who played one less match with 59 wickets at 18.74......

Just because I don't think a player is worth picking means "I don't know what I'm talking about"? That is an amazing response. So the universal view is that Sajid Mahmood is Test Worthy? That means unless I agree with you then I have no clue?

Rolling Eyes Fair rule.

Plus, when did I diss his action? He might have all the capabilities of being a test class bowler, he's been tried and tested and hasn't delivered the goods.

And Stuart Broad is the most over-rated England cricketer since James Anderson first came onto the scene.

That's not what I said at all. The clues are all there in the sentence. If you can't read, I'm not going to help you.

Plus, when did I diss his action? He might have all the capabilities of being a test class bowler, he's been tried and tested and hasn't delivered the goods.

By describing Stuart Broad's action as "better" and "more fluent" (even though it's, by his own admission, still a work in progess), by implication you're suggesting Mahmood's action is in pieces. Which it isn't.

Has he been tried and tested without consistently delivering the goods? To a degree, yes. Is eight Tests, scattered around here and there, two games on, three games off, a decent "crack" at it? Possibly.

But if you're using that as your argument for the retention of Stuart Broad, who has had far more opportunities to impress, against weaker opposition and has performed much worse, it's not going to wash.

Apparently flux capacitors have been installed at several cricket grounds. Esecially those where England and Australia play.

I have an 'orrible feeling that today's cricket's going to be hell to watch!

Getting all three - Gayle, Sarwan and Chanders - before lunch is going to be crucial or else England are going to be looking at a deficit of 100+ at the close tonight with yet more agony to come tomorrow.

The sad fact is that, other than Fred, I don't see anyone else doing the job ... Gawd, that is a depressing thought!
