Right, make your day 3 predictions here:
I'll go with 393 for 8 by close of play.

I'll go for a complete and utter demoralisation of . . . one team or another.
Must admit, I'd prefer it to be the Poms, but it's more likely to be the Windians. Not that I have anything against Poms, of course, but I would like to see cricket prosper in the Windies again.

That's if we take our chances - and to be honest I think I'd take that score right now...
More likely Chanderpaul will fire for the first time in the series and they'll be 360-4 and DRAW!!

No, seriously, I don't. Not when we hold that little urn, anyway . . .
. . . I really am thinking of what's best for the Great Game. Honestly. Truly.
Trust me. Would I lie to you?

at least in Karachi we got to see the greatest spin combo in the history of the game bowl for 2 straight days
..in fact it was 2 and a half days

AH but here we have the great Graham Swann who turns it square and is such a very attacking off spinner and the bamboozling offerings of Big Benn and his extreme bounce.

With either a short leg or an orthodox 2nd slip, we would have had at least one wicket this morning.

lol me too. We have a really annoying habit of thrusting the pad at spinners who don't really turn the ball, and it results in inevitable lbw's.
I really wish the would just use the bat.

Sarwan is not Ricky Ponting, which even I have to admit as much as I hate the moron. However, he is massively talented and has under-achieved and I expect him to score runs against attacks much better than the current English one.

It isn't a woof, it's a stone-wall fact the way England are 'bowling.'

IMO that is a bad decision, the ball didn't hold it's own at all. Smith was plumb, but that was just bad umpiring.

Having said that Hinds did not look at all comfortable against the non-spin of Swann.
It does not look good for his international career with so many others making runs in our domestic cricket. I would still give him until the end of this series.

Keep on with that dissing WIFAN
Decent session for England on what still is an excellent pitch. This is the big partnership that needs to be broken.
Aside from these two I don't see anything scary about the remaining bats no matter how stubborn they are.
Very much like the last test it's a question of grinding wickets out - we don't have the bowling on these flat surfacces to really cause problems.

The more I think about that Hinds lbw decision the more upset I get. There is no way in hell Dar should be giving that out.
It is plain unfair IMHO.

Mmm, one can only hope that the rough created by SiBo will help Swanny on the last day.

I thought the Hinds decision looked very out without Hawkeye, whereas Devon Smith's seemed touch and go. I don't really trust Hawkeye at all, to be honest.
There was something about the way Hinds walked off though, unquestioningly, that seemed to suggest he didn't believe he was good enough for this level. He has played Graeme Swann liked he is bowling hand grenades in the past two Tests. I can't see him staying in the Windies side unless he makes a proper score soon.

I am glad he finally has got his head straight after giving up the vice captaincy. He definitely seems to be in a different place mentally than he was in NZ.
