Seems slightly bizarre that Coldplay's in there, that's a bit like us picking, say, Hoggard for the Lions...JKLever wrote:Fatsam really is a class apart in FC terms from the other pretenders....NEW ZEALAND A

Re: New Zealand A vs England Lions, 2nd "Thing"
They don't play much FC cricket in NZ so the selectors may have picked this side with the Indian test series in mind.
Anyway 331-9 seems a decent recovery from 112-5 though Gareth Batty is obviously cheaping 'A' tests for scoring 64...

It's a bit like the fact that watching Gillette Soccer Saturday is more entertaining than 99% of televised Premier League matches...JKLever wrote:It's a sad state of affairs when following this game on the PC is waaaay more entertaining than the last 2 tests...

Why is Daniel Flynn playing for the A side? He averages 42 in Tests and is therefore NZ's best batsman.
Oh no, I'm wrong - Stay Puft averages 49 (burgers per sitting):

GAWNGODDIMHOWZAT!!?
Plunkett smokes another baddie.
Is the England A seam attack of Mahmood, Davies and Plunkett better than the current England seam attack of Anderson, Broad and Yessie Khan?
I say yes.
Or possibly no. Depends. Perhaps I'll sleep on it...
