I think they are better - 59/5, Franklin gone to KING DAVIES.

Davies is the OWNER of FC wickets. I think that probably takes his career average below 21.
Re: New Zealand A vs England Lions, 2nd "Thing"
I'd say Saj Mahmood is a pile of dross. I wouldn't get too excited.

Re: New Zealand A vs England Lions, 2nd "Thing"
Davies has picked up 4 of their test players so far.
Must admit i've only ever seen him on lancsTV highlights when he got Flintoff first ball last year.
To have an average of less than 21 is remarkable really for someone who looks to be no more than 80mph. Not exactly tall either is he?

To put that into perspective, Super Amjad Khant has a FC average of 31.5....
Not that averages tell the whole story.

Crocinfo says he's 6' 3", which is a decent fast-bowling height, but A) he doesn't look that tall and B) he's not a fast bowler as far as I can tell.
Medium-fast dross weasel with an appalling fitness record.
However his wicket-taking record disqualifies him from dross-weasel status. He's more of a sex-badger. With a limp.

Trescothick averaged under 30 with the bat when England called him up... he finished with a Test average of about 44 didn't he?JKLever wrote:Augustus wrote:Dello wrote:Davies is the OWNER of FC wickets. I think that probably takes his career average below 21.

Pick by county averages and you would end up with plenty of "bage". You need the selectors to spot that X factor... not that Noey Khan't necessarily has it!

Yessie has the X factor of sizzling pace.
That's a good selling point when you've got a side full of trundlers.
Just a shame he's a bit no-bally. And no-controlly. And a little no-brainy.
A tad no-legitimate-actiony...

As long as he's not no-wickety, that will put him above the rest of our no-pacey seamers...Dello wrote:Yessie has the X factor of sizzling pace.

Thanks Dello. I won't bother getting excited then.

Saj has bowled 9 noeys and a wide in 11 overs. Trying to give Amjad a run for his money?
