Sweepstake then, how many/few overs will it take for the Windies to knock these off?
I'm going for 16.

This is worse than the Australia day ODI at Adelaide in 2007. FFS, people were predicting we'd beat the Windies comfortably.

Are they actually trying, or just trying to get it over with as quickly as possible?

Hopefully the qunts apologise for this abject performance but I suspect we'll get the usual dribble from Strauss.
The more embarrasing the better.

6.6 Mascarenhas to Gayle, 2 runs, whoops, it's in the air, but there's enough bat on that to clear the ring at backward point
6.5 Mascarenhas to Gayle, SIX, on the toes, up, up and away, into the beach at wide midwicket! This is hilarious, and the crowd are ecstatic
6.4 Mascarenhas to Gayle, no run, a dot-ball. Boo
6.3 Mascarenhas to Gayle, SIX, battered! That is incredible! Open-shouldered smash over the covers, that went flat and hard, and into the stands. Gayle has his half-century, from 27 balls!
6.2 Mascarenhas to Gayle, SIX, Hugh Mungus. Stand and deliver, a contemptuous swipe, clean over the sightscreen!
6.1 Mascarenhas to Gayle, FOUR, fladaboom, to coin a phrase. Short, wide, and slapped through the covers

Any chance England will forfeit the rest of the series and get the first plane home tomorrow?

Gayle is the hardest hitter of the cricket ball in World cricket. Unbelievable innings.

England have lost 4 ODIs by 10 wickets - the last occasion being against New Zealand at Hamilton in February last year. West Indies have won 10 ODIs by 10 wickets, the last occasion being the defeat of The Netherlands in Dublin in July 2007. West Indies have never beaten England by 10 wickets in an ODI (so far!).

Gayle has 73. Simmons has 7. Has there been a greater disparity in an opening partnership.
