Re: India v Australia, 6th ODI, Nagpur, 14th Oct
In the end an analysis of 1/64 in 8 overs says it all that he really was hopeless yesterday.Sree's bowling effort was quite rollercoasterish.
His eco rate in ODIs is now close to 6, don't know why do they bother to play him in ODIs. And its not as if he is just 5-10 ODIs old. He has played 33 ODIs in all now.
He can't lay bat to ball, his bowling ALWAYS gets hit, he isn't any hot in the field either and I'm yet to mention how irritating he is with all his antics on the field.

Must be very frustrating for an Indian supporter SG. He looks to have the talent but his goose-like carrying-on and lack of results-delivery is clearly testing the patience of many Indian supporters.

Very frustrating, skully.
As you said he does possess talent, but not necessarily the right attitude to succeed.
I think as Ian Chappell suggested in his recent column, India would do well to drop him for a period of time so that he sorts his problems out.
Didn't watch entire length of Australian innings. Was he alright yesterday?

IMO Brett Lee is nowhere near Sree in this area.
And atleast he is a damn good bowler in ODIs atleast, I mean he atleast has results to show for his efforts to sometimes indulge in all this.

Interesting comparison to Brett Lee and I agree with it - he bowls some excellent spells sandwiched by lots of crap (Lee does this mostly in Tests I suppose because he certainly is a quality OD bowler). I think Sree will come good in time. He is still young but it would help if he had someone to get his mind straight, like when Allan Donald did so in SA. Then again, being an international bowler, he should be trying to improve by himself. Ah well...

Sreesanth should be kept around the Indian setup. Im 90% sure he'll go to Aus. I think he's more suited to Tests than ODI's. He bowled beautifully against South Africa at the end of last year.

SG wrote:Top innings from Symonds though. This was his 4th consecutive score of 75+, always a difficuly score to get especially for someone who bats lower down the order. He wasn't too hot against us in ODIs before this series, but in this series he is nothing short of phenomenal.
Easily the MoS for this series.
Interesting stat - he's only the 7th player to do this. No-one has done 5.

Considering the kind of form he is in, I won't be surprised if he scores 5th such score in next ODI.

I saw this the other day, JGK. No wonder the Aussies keep scoring 300 or there abouts.

There are also 4 batsmen (not all Oz) currently 900 or above in the test list.
Pretty sure that might be the first time that has happened. Which isn't surprising when Corey Collymore FFS is in the top 10 bowlers.

Tendulkar returns to the top-10 of ODI ratings after 20 months. 13-Feb-06 was the last time he was in top-10 ODI rankings.

How is Ponting at 1 and Hayden at 3? The positions should be swapped.

But Josh would be quick to blame it all on Tendulkar. The One wrote:wow! no wonder we are hella crap. 'highest' ranked indian bowler at 29!
He somehow manages to do it with unflinching regularity and dedication.

I'm not worked up by his all too obvious potshots, rather just a bit surprised that he has so much to say against just an individual, who incidentally happens to be best ever cricketer India has produced.
Looks like, Tendulkar is root cause of all ills plaguing Indian cricket.
