It was within the rules. Stuart Broad has now been asked not to do it and that's the end of it. Unsporting or not, who gives a f*ck? If he'd run in to bowl and simply charged down the pitch, past the batsman and whipped the bails off, that might have been pushing it.

It also makes me laugh when batsmen start bringing up the spirit of the game - where's the spirit of the game when you nick one behind and don't walk? They're all qunts, good to see Broad try some quntupmanship.

>> quntsupmanship

In cricket this has been the only constant .. refusing to budge with the times.

What exactly could the ICC do if he continued with it? Bring him up on some bullshit "unsportsmanlike conduct" claim.

Next time Saj Mahmood gets picked by England they'll make him have plastic surgery as his face is offputting to the batsmen....

Well, had he done it tonight and got Yuvraj out then India would probably have started a nuclear war with General Modi at the head of it. Probably a very wise move by the ICC.

Should get Doug Bollinger to take off his wig. Can't have that thing flapping in the breeze, distracting the poor batsmen.

Jason Gillespie did something similar to Broad during the Laxman/Dravid partnership in Calcutta. Just before delivery, he spread his arms out like aeroplane wigs.

Didn't work.

He stil has some way to go before he reaches papa's high standards.
