Bit harsh innit? Dernbach arrived here aged 14, even if he spiks like a Sith Erfrican. I'd put him in the Strauss, Prior camp.

Aye, in between. Much of his personal and cricketing development will have occurred. It even makes a difference with the three years less that Prior was in SA.. 11-12 is a lot different.

I firmly believe it all comes back to the accent. If they speak saffie, they are saffie & are therefore ineligible to play for anyone other than saffieland.

No. Not at all. Better credentials than Trott and KP, overall. He was gleaned into a professional cricketer here. Just said he was in between the Strauss/Prior and Trott/KP schools.
