Thought this warranted a thread, its such an emotionally hard hitting and interesting series.

The Los Angeles episode from Season 4 was on tonight, and he was also in Somalia trying to capture 'pirates' with the HMS Northumberland.

Kemp is probably the best host for a programme like this. If it was someone like Danny Dyer, the guy wouldn't make it to a 4th season.

On a Cricketing theme, he goes to London, Cape Town, Jamaica and New Zealand.

Agreed, a lesser man would have crumbled when surrounded by dangerous gunmen covered in warpaint.

Yeah, thats probably more serious than 'gangs'.

He usually discusses meeting them before hand.

In Afghanistan, there's not much of that. I reckon it makes people more aware of war without the gloss of the media.

Although didn't he report his now ex-wife (News of the World editor Rebecca Wade) to the police for beating him up?

Granted, it's not a fair fight when a woman starts swinging for you as no man worth his salt would ever hit back.

Kick her up the c*nt. That's the move.

Aye, he made some very interesting points about the lot of the ordinary soldier posted there. The low pay. The inadequate kit they have to work with - lack of body armour, softskin Land Rovers instead of proper armoured personnel carriers.
