Just like that, huh!

A 3 y o colt (presumably) ... no parentage details ... no trainers name ... and anyway, WhereTF is So CA.

I've got a half share for sale in a Cheltenham winning 7 y o novice hurdler... but a cricket forum ain't the place to be hawking his sale! Rolling Eyes

Good call WW ... yeah, I had Arctic Cosmos at 14's early doors.... and to really piss Coral's off, had him in a £5 EW double with Balthazars Gift in the following race at Donnie (a horse I've been following all season) at 16's!

Nice day's work ....

Does anyone think La Rocket has an each-way chance in the Toorak Hdcp today? He has gone ordinary in two runs this preparation but I'm hoping third-up he might regain the form that saw him win the SWFA St George Stakes back in February.

Any thoughts?

I guess not.

Anyway I backed him at fixed odds - $101 the win, $23 the place.
BTW I ran out of medication earlier in the week.

There has been a couple of very impressive wins at Caulfield.
Black Caviar & So You Think both scored with ridiculous ease.
There was also an eyecatching second by Alcopop which gives him a good chance in the Cups.

On a cricketing theme - Is Andrew Noblet related to Geff? He's originally from South Australia so there must be a chance.

Going for Group One glory tomorrow with Sistine Angel.

It won some race during Glorious Goodwood that was below the top level.

There's better pommy horses coming over than it but it is sometimes their sh1ttier horses that run best in our races. But I won't be backing it

bad news ..from abc online

Champion Queensland jockey Stathi Katsidis, 31, has been found dead in his Brisbane home.

His body was discovered at his home in Hendra on Brisbane's northside early on Tuesday by his partner Melissa Jackson.

Jackson's father Tony Jackson confirmed the star rider's death which has shocked the Australian racing industry.

The cause of his death is unknown but police believe there were no suspicious circumstances.

Katsidis was due to ride AJC Australian Derby winner Shoot Out in Saturday's Cox Plate at Moonee Valley and next month's Melbourne Cup at Flemington.

More to follow.

Does anyone think La Rocket has an each-way chance in the Crystal Mile tomorrow? He went ordinary in his first two runs this preparation & a bit better in his third run (only 2.3 lengths away) but I'm hoping at his fourth run he might regain the form that saw him win the SWFA St George Stakes back in February.

Any thoughts?

I guess not.

Anyway I'm thinking of backing him at fixed odds - currently $26 the win, $7.25 the place.

So even better if SYT runs then.

I can't remember the numbers, but I'm fairly sure that one of News Ltd's SPFSP ran a story in November last year saying if you'd backed every Bart Cummings trained horse that had ever run in the Melbourne Cup you'd be quite a way in front.

Of course, this would have required that you would have known before his first cup winner that JB would go on to be the best trainer this country's ever seen.
