Well, I'm glad you're house is safe but, like you, I want him to succeed without being too starry-eyed about his abilities or his views. However you too are missing the point. All politicians suffer from "foot-in-mouth" syndrome. It's an occupational hazard. It's just those which the media choose to highlight which are dictated by political prejudice. Thus GWB was a gaffe-prone idiot whilst Obama, who is equally, if not more, gaffe-prone, is a silver-tongued maestro.

I was thinking of posting another one with the legend:

What do you call a black woman with four c**ts?....The Labour leadership contest.

but I thought it would get me banned especially as there were no asterisks...even if it is mildly amusing.

I've only been observing from afar but surely Cameron can't continue as PM after Leverson? He is hopelessly compromised.

Sucking at the teat of Rebekah Brooks doesn't seem overly pleasant.

Your link doesn't work on my machine, Embee, but I think you're referring to the Dead Calm version of Ms Kidman when she first entered our collective consciousness (mine at any rate, having not seen Emerald City):
