I've watched the count go from 6mil and change to over 9mil and the half mil lead has just started eroding a little.

Re: UK politics thread
I'm torn.
I'm worried about the short term economic effect of this, but at the same time I'm quietly proud that Britain has stood up and defied the European cronies. Up yours Junker, Merkel and co.
The most interesting thing to see is what this now means for the EU as a whole. I'm quite sure this result will lead to countries like France and Austria demanding referendums of their own. Polling (if it still has any credibility at all) has shown that France feels a similar way about the EU as the UK does.
The EU could now collapse in the space of 12 months, imo.
Oh, and we now face the very real prospect of Boris Johnson becoming PM in a matter of weeks.

Re: UK politics thread
Only 65% of Scots bothered to come out and vote in the referendum yesterday, compared to 83% of them when they were voting on whether to leave the UK.
I think they'd be wise to STFU for the next few months and see what happens to the EU before rushing to have another independence vote. The EU might not be such a 'wonderful' place to be in for much longer.
