Yes. And on that note.....G.Wood wrote:Vilky do you tire of teaching your bretheren comprehension skills?
Hence why I suggested reading the bit where he mentions different sports....JKLever wrote:vilkrang wrote:No, but you might want to read the article again, particularly the bit where it mentions different sports.
Reading whole articles is soooooo 2010....

Seriously what a dross article, that 8-0 tour drubbing must really and I mean really have hurt the Indian psyche particularly as there were lots of comments post Ashes about how Australia were one thing, the world numbr 1 test side was a different matter altogether. If a 5-0 result against a middle ranked ODI side makes up in any way for the most humiliating defence of number 1 status ever seen then India have got problems.
WC over a test series? Only a WI, Bangla or Zim one. Gimmie a 4-0 beating of SA, AUS or IND anyday.
Personally I also think being test no.1 is a lot harder. You have to be consistent over a long period, whereas in the WC everyone is basically guaranteed to make the QF and you need to win 3 games from there...
Australia have beaten England 12-2 in the ODI's in the last two ashes series. Think they really care about that?
I did not even know! - still less, care. However, the Test losses burn.

Aye, the Tri Series ODI win in 2007 didn't even 'register' after that wrecking Aus gave us.
Re: Vikas is now writing for cricinfo
bullsh!t. You were devastated by the ODI series we lost, Danny, and I know for a fact that Lardy cried himself to sleep after we won the tri series.

Aye, very unfair of BM to denigrate the commitment involved

Well, I think that's between Dello, his hand, his penis, his Fruit Lube, his wide array of fish porn and his portraits of Jason Roy. Don't you?

To borrow a sh!t phrase from those cockchokers from across the pond - 'Go figure'.

Maybe Dello took the Indian money.

How sh1t can I write and still be seen as a subcontinental comic genius
How dare you? As if I would sell myself out to the highest bidder, compromising my art for the the filthy lucre.
As if.
