I thought that was McEnroe's answer when asked who Tomic had next and what he would need to do to deal with it.

Well fark me again. Hewitt takes a set of Joker (he hasn't even been taken to 4 games in a set so far in the tournament).

Into the fourth now although you feel that just winning a set was like a victory.
