Re: Australian Open Tennis 2012
Aussie Kim beats Wozniacki who will lose her No 1 ranking which she has held for an astonishing 67 weeks.
1 of 3 others could be the new No 1.

FMD Tennis is stupid. How can you be listed as the best in the world at something for 16 months and change when you haven't won any of the 5 grand slam tournaments held during that time, or indeed ever?Wozniacki ...will lose her No 1 ranking which she has held for an astonishing 67 weeks.
Ban Tennis.

Re: Australian Open Tennis 2012
There's some chances that the two who screech like young foxes could meet in the final.
Women's tennis should be banned until these stupid bitches learn to shut up. Perhaps it's time the crowd screams in unison with them but unfortunately this boring game is so precious that the players demand complete silence during points.

Tomic too looks like he is the goods, not just a flash in the pan. No doubt some boffinator can tell you when was the last time two Australian males made it to the fourth round of a Major ... I'm thinking it was quite a while back.
I think Tomic is massively overrated. All I hear in the Aus media is how Tomic was unlucky to come up against a rampant Federer. Well I say, if Tomic has any aspirations of greatness, he needs to start upsetting great players such as Federer, who is arguably past his best. Federer himself announced his arrival in 2003, when he hammered an ageing Pete Sampras to win Wimbledon for the first time at the age of 20. Tomic can't hope to be a great if he beats moderate players, but continuously gets thrashed by the big guns.

Agree that Tomic is overrated.
Meanwhile, Rafa is a little lucky in his win over Berdych. Berdych had an makable volley to go 2 sets up but missed and the rest was history.
Fed might even start have against Rafa.

Disagree. Rafa looked good in the last set. He will beat Fed.

I think he will beat Fed because he is mentally all over him.
But I think Fed might start favourite though.

Probably, he got better as the match went on but his opponent made an awful lot of unforced errors when he had the Spaniard on toast.
With Tomic his main problem could be lack of mobility around the court as his tennis craft will continue to develop. He looks to be a lumbering type but he seems to have a better temperament than fullofpizzas.

Very tasty, going to get me some of that.
Having said that, Fed absolutely destroyed Rafa the last time they met, but of course that wasn't in a GS.

Trev never missing an opportunity.
Tomic is overhyped, but that's hardly his fault. The hype comes from the media Trev. You continually mix up media crap with what the punters are actually saying and thinking.
Federer beat Sampras at age 20, so feckin what? Federer is already an atg. It's nonsense to discredit Tomic with a direct comparison to Fed.
Tomic will have a very good career.

Erm, as the bit in bold shows, I mentioned the media. When did I ever accuse the punters of over-hyping him?
And Tomic might have a very good career, or he might become another Philippoussis.

Poo had a very good career by any measure.
Yes, it should have been a better career but mutliple tournament wins, top 10, 2 GS finals and a Davis Cup is nothing to be ashamed of.

Poo was a waste of talent, I get your point, but most would rate a 10 year career that included a grand slam final as "good".

Just put on $100 @ 2.30 for Nadal to beat Federer. Easy money.
