How does one pronounce this word? Ewww-ugh? Ewww? Oaaaaahhh? Edfgiwegliunwruign?vilkrang wrote:"Do you want to go for food earlier?"
Eugh. I don't even know what that means, if anything at all...

Re: Date or no date?
There's a bit of a Germanic-ish "ochk" from the back of the throat at the end of it. Difficult to describe and I can't be arsed to upload a file of me saying the word.

Re: Date or no date?
Glad it went well, vilks.
(btw: I wasn't pushing any sex advice on you ~ All I'd say is that, tactically, I generally start with broad/outlandish humour, then try to be more helpful.
I wouldn't listen for a second to my tongue-in-cheek stuff either (the idea at least is to take the piss out of the situation as a sort of comic relief, not out of you).
But FWIW (not much, no doubt!), the rest is sincerely offered as a set of thoughts, to take or leave as you wish.
But then, online advice generally should be viewed with healthy scepticism, I think.... Even Danny doesn't actually know you. As far as I know ...)

Happy days.

Dan seems to have spoken the most sense, strangely.

Exactly. The best thing about advice is that it can come from anyone, even from some know-nothing wazoo. It's all down the advisee to find the pertinence amongst it. Then and only then does it become good advice.
Glad it went OK, vilks.

He pumped his trombone and then dumped it.
I reckon him and Dello had a Winnie-induced tryst.

Re: Date or no date?
Still just mates with this one, and annoyingly the work night out has been suspended until April.
S'all good though, should be going out with someone at work, was chatting to her and asked her what she was up to this weekend, she said "Nothing!" then looked at me expectantly. I played it cool though, just smiled at her and went on my way. She's gagging for me now.

Re: Date or no date?
Are you saying she has a penis and will force it down my throat?
I have to be honest, I'm really hoping that won't be the case.

Re: Date or no date?
I surprised myself to be honest.
I think my attitude has totally changed since the last GF, I'm actually not that arsed about getting involved with anyone, even for just a fling, but ironically, that blasé approach seems to work better than my usual "laugh after everything they say whilst praising them relentlessly" tactic. Desperation is definately not attractive.
