With hard work, I'm sure he can put that back on overnight.Big Dog wrote:skully wrote:Fixed.Big Dog wrote:Cossie will undergo a fiatness test today to see if he will be included.
Not so much it seems. Cossie was one of the players to suffer Gastro last week & lost 7 Kilo's.

Looks like Cutting has been ruled out of the final. Bulls were worried about lack of match fitness apparently.
Re: Shield Final: Mighty Tasmania v Wimpy Billies, 2011-12
I wonder if by Tuesday the Banjos will be worried about a lack of talent?
Have they managed to secure two hillbilly umpires? Is Porky coming out of retirement just special?

By all reports (and contrary to my initial post) the Billies are producing the flatest of all flat tracks. Seems they are prepared to to take the cowards option & win by a draw.

Lets hope this showery weather doesn't hang around for the next five days. 'twould be a shame to see it affect the final.

Anywho, enough of my banter. May the better team "win".

the original FB thread celebrating 'Tasmania uber alles' has sadly been locked (you bastard, Dello) ... you may care to read it again: I know I did.
A loss to the Q'billies would be easier to bear than a loss to the filthy Spivs.

BTW The correct convention is to name the home team first.
So the thread title should read -
Shield Final: Mighty Queensland v Wimpy Tozzies, 2011-12

I thought you might say that!
BD is forecasting a disaster, it seems. The guy has been reading too much JGK.

Well, no woofing, I'll take the risk ... Tassie SHOULD win. Ponting, Butterworth, Bird, Faulkner, Cosgrove, Triffitt, Krazy ... there's a few very decent players there. QLD has been cruelled by injury.
BD will probably hunt me down, now, if we don't.

The game immediately prior to that one has more significance.
