Wow, scraping the barrel if our grade cricket back ups are coming into a County side. He counts as a Johnny Foreigner, yeah?

No, he's got dual nationality - so he doesn't count as an overseas player. He played for your U-19s, are you sayig that they are really shoite?

Yes, because youth talent is indicative of how they'll be when they're older. In kickball how many Pom U/19 reps go on to play for the actual national side? I'll bet you there's some that are now languishing in Tier 3/4 or worse on the pyramid.

It's true though, not sure which are the worse whores - the wannabees from Aus and SAf who go anywhere (but usually Pomerania) to build up their careers and earn some dope, or the counties that sign them up in hope and speculation of unearthing a rough-cut diamond on the cheap.
If there were a sexual element to the trade, it would be easier to say. The counties would be done for kerb-crawling.

WTF are Warwickshire up to? Giving Giles as main coach and trying to knick Saker?

We've got him for the whole season as well. A bit concerned that he might be over the hill, but English Div 2 attacks aren't quite Aussie test standard!

He can teach Kev how to throw the bat.
In return, Kev can teach him how to spit the dummy.
Everybody wins.

Re: English off season 2012/13.
Old Adam Wheater has bought himself out of his contract at Essex - was shocked, until I thought that he's 3rd pejazzle behind Darren and Tracy.
He's going to beat off MasturBates at Hampshire, apparently. I'm thinking he acquired one of Dello's notes.

Re: English off season 2012/13.
Who, Wheater or Bates?
He's a good player, Wheater. Don't know what his keeping's like. Bates is a fine keeper but a mediocre batsman. He was always likely to get replaced at some point, as keepers who can't back died out yonks ago.
Every side would rather have a bloke behind the stumps who averages 40 (Wheater) than one who averages 20 (Bates).

We've got two who don't even average 20!

Re: English off season 2012/13.
I see Sam Hain (oh come on) has chosen Los Anglos instead of L'ostralians. Good lad.
Re: English off season 2012/13.
Splitter. Good on him.
Weren't the qualification rules changed fairly recently, though? Not sure he can be "English" (or "Engrish", to use his native Hong Kongese) for many a year. Seven, is it now?
Can't be arsed to look up the new regulations, mind, so this could be raging bollo.

Seems to me that he is Engrish-ish - was playing for Warks since 14 - 3 years ago (four consecutive years). The new regulation applies to over 18s. Also, 'moved here' before April 2012 means it should only be a four year quallo.
Re: English off season 2012/13.
I don't know - had a quick flick through the ECB's rulebook and I reckons he's done himself up like a kipper by playing for Aus U19s.
Of course, the rules are entirely at the ECB's discretion, so if he really is any good and wants to play for England, it's not like they're going to cut off their noses.
