By the way, Paul Gow tipped Tim Clark last week at 50s!

The man is a genius.

That would have been the feel good story if he hadn't come 11th.

Yeah, he was ruthless on Sunday.
Poor Sergio didn't know what hit him.....McIlroy or his own choking.

Clearly his break from tennis (and shagging) has worked wonders!!

Tiger's back is f*cked again. Nick Faldo reckons he needs to change his swing to have any chance of adding to his tally of 14 majors.

Considering what he did beforehand and the ability that he has, it's quite incredible that Tiger hasn't won a major since 2008.

You ever tried to swing a golf club with a crook back. Interesting one of the big sporting goods firms (ADIDAS I think) blamed their latest less than great results on their golf division's poor sales. The PGA may not have been exaggerating the "Tiger" effect afterall.

I know nothing about the body, but it did seem an exceptionally short layoff when he returned after the surgery, almost rushed.

Nice wide fairways. Haven't heard much about the greens and their protection.

Typical PGA? Drive, wedge, putt?

One of my great disappointments. I loved flogging that little dimpled ball around the paddocks, but my dodgy back eventually made it impossible. My choices were dose up on anti-inflammatories, enjoy a round, then not walk straight for 3 months in intense discomfort - or give it away. The pain of the former led me to choosing the latter.  No

Will Valhalla be a wide fairway for the golfing Gods??  Tiger seems to have made a remarkable recovery from his apparently* crippling back injury. Rory seems to be in the FOHL ATM.

Bring it on!!

graphite shafts might help S...enables me to play nowadays...used to have fairly stiff steel shafts and they were diabolical for my back....steel need a few Voltarins but otherwise ok

Nah, a wicked left-to-right scoliosis in my lower back courtesy of a mutant wedge-shaped vertebrae is the culprit. The dynamics of a golf swing are literally the worst thing in the world for my lower back, no matter what the club shafts are made of.

Happy to be an armchair golfer these days. Much less painful.

Got to love a course that can successfully bid for 3 PGA championships and a Ryder cup in 2 decades but use plastic cutlery.
