Lyon will play because you have Watto anyway.

Watto to bat 3.

Watson's bowling is arguably more effective than his batting in test matches. Therefore his batting spot should be geared more towards him bowling more overs than he currently does.

Horrie has been hitting the Fairfax polls I see...

Poll: Have the selectors made the right decision picking Matthew Wade ahead of Brad Haddin for the Australian Test team?

Yes: 86%
No: 14%

Poll closes in 11 days.

Conditions may determine whether or not Lyon plays. Hussey struggles big time against pace these days. Not sure if #3 is his go.

Hussey apparently averages nine against Steyn, Morkel and Philander based on the past few series against SA. Coming in at #6 might be his best chance to succeed, not up the order.

I wonder what the collective average of Australia's number three is since Ponting last batted there in the 2010 Boxing Day test? Not much, I'm guessing.

Trikes linked to a foxsport Sheffield stream and I managed to fine one (eventually) on their home page so it should be all linked.

Weather forecast for tomorrow looking pretty reasonable. I'll try and get there in time for the first ball.

I'll take some pics. Forumming with an iPhone is damn frustrating, though.

And this will thoroughly annoy Red-

"I am excited about what we can achieve at Surrey going forward and would like to state very clearly that I will balance my new role alongside my continuing commitments to the Proteas and I look forward to continuing to represent my country for many years to come."

So, do the Saffies have a diet of T20s coming up? Has he retired from the T20 AND ODI teams? Or just the T20s?

From what I have read, just T20s - think it was more he was dropped.

Meanwhile AB denies that keeping has exacerbated his back problems, while Steyn doesn't believe he's the world's best bowler.

He's surely in their best ODI side, especially considering the next World Cup will be played in Aus.
