For all you may be right tomorrow, on what basis do you make that assumption today?

Because Clarke and Hussey are still in the shed and they score the bulk of our runs. Punter might go out with a bang. Many of the SA batsmen engineered their own dismissals.

Not an auspicious debut by Elgar but du Plessis keeps faffing around.

Watson seems to be a perennial LBW candidate.

Good call Trev

Elgar still looks crap whatever one says.

Anyway there is Hussey, Wade, Johnson and Hastings so a late order rally is not out of the question.

Morkel has only bowled one over so far. Mad

Well I haven't really been bothered to completely read what you said, but let's just assume that whatever you wrote, the opposite will happen.

Yep, write off Elgar after one innings.

Aye, was a tad premature.

Didn't someone else say 'Duminy fails everywhere'?

Apart from Australia apparently*

Having said that, an average of 32 for a number 4 is hardly ideal.

Mere averages 22 as Oz's permanent 4th drop.

No.

Hartley is the best keeper and far from the worst batsman. I can't understand why he isn't considered for the test side.

He's up there with Neville and Wade (before his injury) and would not be the worst selection. Ludeman looks promising too.

do you mean Paine?

Hartley is seen as too old now I'd say.

I don't think Neville is that good a keeper to be honest.   Triffit has some prospects though.

JGK another couple of examples of your powers.

Good keeper, not batting well enough.
