Biden’s not home yet. A 269 all draw is still a possibility if Biden wins Georgia and nothing else.

Re: *The United States Presidential Election * (III)
Trump's press conference just now was the final proof of what a pathetic liar and fool this man is.
He claims he won the election but then fraud from the Democrats is whittled away his win. Of course, every state he won was totally above board, but the ones he is now losing apparently* involved fraud.
No, you idiot, you told your supporters not to vote early, so they didn't. But the Democrat supporters, wisely looking to avoid crowd for Covid safety, did vote early. Those mail in ballots are now being counted, and surprise, surprise, they heavily favour the Democrats.
Georgia is nearly gone to the Democrats, Arizona and Nevada look safe for Biden, and Trump's Pennsylvania margin is slipping by the minute.
I have absolutely no allegiance to either major party in the US. In fact, as a conservative voter in Aus, I should gravitate to the Republicans. But I don't and can't with this fool at the helm.
Disappear quietly now, you bloated, orange buffoon.

Re: *The United States Presidential Election * (III)
Nevada, a gambling precinct in the middle of a desert with about the same number of permanent residents as the mythical Dunny On The Wold, had counted 75% of its votes yesterday. Its latest bulletin showed that in the 24 hours since, progress had galloped ahead so now 76% were in the can (and Joe's lead has increased from 0.6 of a % to 0.9)
At this rate, they'll be lucky to have a result in by Inauguration Day. 2025. (Also, our media are watching this paint-drying contest, and as we speak are darkly muttering 'don't even touch the barge pole!' at any politico who hints at mail voting as a possibility.)

Early ski season perhaps. Their equivalent of turning up to a stop work meeting when the barra and crabs are running with a car full of pots and rods. FFS the place is full of people who count for a living.

It is scarcely believable but Trump's sons might be bigger nobs than he is.

ABC reporting that gap in PA is down to under 18K and in Georgia it's under 1,200 votes.

With 4% more of the vote counted in Georgia (95% to 99%) Biden went from 2,000 down to 900 up. The final 1% of counting may give him another another 1000.
There'll be a recount, but Georgia will carry Biden to the White House, as it makes it impossible for Trump to get to 270 Electoral Votes.
And CNN is projecting a possible margin to Biden in Pennsylvania of 40,000 on current trends (Trump still currently ahead by 18K - which was 700K a day ago).
Nevada and Arizona are still looking like Biden will win them.

It sure as hell appears that the Midnight Train has departed and Donald has missed it....
There's a lot less than 1% left in GA - the 'votes counted' percentage has been on 99 for hours and hours.

Meanwhile, Steve Bannon (remember him?) has joined in the fun today, calling for Anthony Fauci and FBI big cheese Christopher Way to 'have their heads stuck on pikes like happened to traitors in the Revolution'.

Biden up by 1,100 now in Georgia.
Waiting for numbers in Pennsylvania, which is expected to flip in the US Friday (their time).

Bob Woodward without saying as much suggested two and a half months is a long time to be a lame duck with things like megasecret briefings and launch codes lying around.

Wilson, Thatcher, Blair and Cameron were voted in on Thursday and in situ at 10 Downing by the end of the weekend.
In Australia it takes slightly longer, but usually the new bloke is well and truly running the joint after a week or so. (Gough and his sidekick took about 38 hours from close of polling on the east coast.)
But over in the HOTB and LOTF they piss-fart around for two and a half goddam months. Besides 'it is wot it is', WHY FFS????

One imagines that this lame duck situation won't be good for the Covid situation in the US.
They are already breaking daily new case numbers. God only knows how bad it will be by February.
Meanwhile, apparently* a group of up to 10 as yet unnamed Republican Senators are plotting how to get their spoilt baby of an ex-Prez out of the White House to limit the damage to the GOP.

Current state of play in key states:
Pennsylvania - Biden ahead by 14,541
Georgia - Biden ahead by 4,184
Nevada - Biden ahead by 20,137
Trump looks safe in NC and is apparently* still a chance in AZ (though down by 40,000 atm).

Alright that was a test run. Inauguration Day is set in stone legislatively. It used to be April I think, something to do with unopened continent, horses and prolly some apple pie wisdom. They may have a rethink if it takes the soldiers at the cemetery to take the white house by storm

Fourth attempt. Must be nice tone a white man in America. You can actually carry a loaded gun without getting dead. Now see where those unarmed black lives went wrong. Bots go loaded for bear. No one to blame but yourselves.
