The Stosur match is a bit up and down. Could turn into a real cracker.

Princess Fiona wins the first set 6-4. 'Our Sam' the second 7-5.

Stosur has a phenomenal third-set record this year, especially against top-5 players.

I'd take a friendly, sporting, well behaved on court player like Henman over Hewitt any day.

What about...
Roy Emerson, Rod Laver, Ken Rosewall, John Newcombe, Patrick Rafter, Pat Cash, Mark Edmondson, Lew Hoad, Mervyn Rose, Fred Stolle, Tony Roche, Mal Anderson, Ashley Cooper, Neale Fraser... And that's just some of the blokes...

Federer breezes into semis, beats Soderling in straight sets.

Nadal too is in red hot form.

Hewitt has been a good sport for many years now.

He's still copping flak for his antics as a teenager.

Sweet... on top of my earlier bet on Rafa at 4.5 or so, I had a hunj on Joker to beat Fed at 3.25.

Princess Fiona wins the chicks title.

Hewitt has been a good sport for many years now.

He's still copping flak for his antics as a teenager.

He hasn't really been good enough or been tested enough in pressure situations for the temper and petulance to come out in recent times. He's been a distinctly average tennis player for 5 years now.

Andy Roddick's on court behaviour remains rude and extremely arrogant, and he's sh!t these days as well.

6 or 7 years ago, the Hewitt-Roddick rivalry was seen as being THE rivalry in tennis to engross us in the years to come, but it never materialised as Federer, Nadal, and now Djokovich have come along and taken the game to another level.

I was talking about the behaviour of certain players on court rather than the quality of tennis players each country has produced.

I was pointing out that Hewitt is a c*nt.

And I was pointing out a bunch of Aussies who had managed to excel on the court, and (for the most part) behave well on the court too.

But your blinkered, negative view of all things Australian probably precludes any acknowledgement of that.
