Uzi gone.
I think he's shown enough to be persisted with by Aus, however.

Still, looks a composed, organised batsman, Khawaja - hope Australia stick with him.
Maybe give him a bit more of a chance by letting him work his way up the order from six, like they used to do with young batsmen.

They should bat Hussey at three, with Khawaja at six for now. Clarke at four, and Ponting at five.

He hasn't quite got it right all series, has Swanny. Although to be fair only Adelaide has provided him with some assistance.

Anderson's been bowling beautifully since he came back on. Thought he looked jaded in the first innings, but he woken up now for sure.
That was a pearler.

Cook will be man of the series, and rightly so, but I reckon Jimmy deserves it almost as much. His coming to the party in Aus has been so important for England

The biased Aussie cameras are trying to pick up evidence of England ball tampering.

And Swann goes ballistic. It was a pretty good attempt.
Amazing how the pommy bowlers can move the ball and ours can't. Mind you it's probably easier bowling all the time with so many runs on the board. Bresnan moving it as much as Anderson here.

Hasn't bowled well, Swann. Not a lot of spin out there, but he's strayed all over the shop.
I would never have believed England could retain the Ashes without Swann taking the majority of the wickets, but there you go - funny game.

Especially as the current Aussie bowling coach is the guy who really introduced reverse swing to the English - or taught it to them, at any rate.

Some more series averages done and dusted:-
Khawaja: 58 runs @ 29.
Clarke: 193 runs @ 21.
Hussey: 570 runs @ 63.

Hussey goes & yet another useless overhyped dubber comes to the crease. I'm betting he doesnt make 30.

Clarke: 193 runs @ 21.
Ouch.

Would've had Smith run out if Jimmy had hit...
Re: Australia v England, 5th Test, Sydney, January 3-7, 2011
All these young Aussie bats go so hard at the ball. Techniques designed for flat pitches and no swing.
