Space Patrol was truly grouse. The puppet movements were LESS sophisticated than the Thunderbirds.

Gamma rays on. Yobba rays on. All in order captain. Galasphere 347 ready for take-off.

The Outer Limits was the show that scared the bejeezus out of me. I can very vaguely remember my oldies taking me and my brother around to friends (cos we didn't have a telly) and watching that show.

'Outer Limits' ... I don't know that one. There was a bit of a gap in my commercial TV watching between 1964 or so and 1967 ... no TV for a bit and then in an area with no commercial TV reception. Backwaters of Tasmania ...

I was in the country, W. So it was probably more like 1966 or so.

lardy, The Outer Limits it was an early to mid-60s sci-fi show that featured monsters from inner and outer space (as best as I can remember from the few moments I manned up and opened my eyes). I remember one show that had the fog monster and it scared the living crap out of me. It was remade as a modern version from the mid-90s through to early 2000s.
