It's just a tedious subject that gets dredged up more often than is funny. Who cares where he was born? We're not living in the 19th century. People move around.

Fact is he, like everyone that has played for England thus far, is qualified to do so. Any other deviation from that fact is pure arse dribble.

Aye, I've never been on the whole "can he remember Gordon the gopher and Phillip Schofield in the broom cupboard?" type argument and I've always maintained that we have a different relationship with the colonials... we can bond with them more easily.

The headline on one of the Aussie sports sites was "england call up another South African."

Yet they constantly overlook the origin of most of their tennis players and half of their Rugby Union team.
