Vilks latent homosexual tendencies always broth to the surface when Nadal is on the television. He hides it behind a too obvious wall of feigned hatred and a series of faked drunken rants. Irony about yesterday's game is that JMDP was complaining about the time Rafa was taking between points, when the lovely BBC graphic was showing us all that he was taking 26 seconds average between points, the same as Nadal.

Nadal looks like an orc, no way I'd f**k him.

Vilks, if you want to have a sneaky wank every time Rafael Nadal is on the telly, that's entirely up to you. Just don't keep taking out on the forum with all this repressed rage and nonsense.

I prefer vilky's method of dealing with it to Mudge's. The out-and-proud lusting after a bloke he goes on with is too much.

I save my sneaky wanking for Federer.

Wanking to Nadal would be impossible, every time I'd be about to finish he'd stop and wait 6 minutes before serving again. He's such a tease.

I bet you have a series of your favourite Nadal grunts recorded on Sky+, so you can just keep going back whenever he's taking too long over a point. I've got the same for Sharapova.

So the news coming through is that there is nothing wrong with nadal.

First set to Mr Vilkrang.

Amazing stuff. Hold the front page. Nadal isn't injured.

At all. Nothing wrong with him whatsoever.

Of course, a cynic would ask why the f**k he took a 10 minute injury timeout before a crucial stage in the first set. But really what we should be doing is praising him for battling through his (non-existent) injury yesterday Rolling Eyes .

In all seriousness I think he knows that he isn't playing his best and is just looking for an excuse for if he loses. Anyone who actually thought he might be injured is f**king dumb though, this is a classic Nadal tactic.

He'll take an injury time out if he gets match point down to anyone in this tournament. For a broken nail probably.

Hehe, JMDP pretty much called it I think:

"He was running everywhere and running the same as always,” del Potro said. “I never thought he’d stop.”

Gwyneth Paltrow wins through to the semi.

At least, it looked like her.

Her overwhelmed little opponent from Slovakia was rather nice. Punchy. (Not in a Monty sense.)

I agree that Nadal engages in gamesmanship by taking his sweet time between points. But an orc? The man is seriously hot! As far as I'm concerned he can take all the time he wants when he's changing shirts between games!

Now I think Tomic has the goods; being the youngest quarter-finalist after Becker, McEnroe and Borg is pretty impressive -but I have to cringe about the reaction in the press.

I saw one headline today that read "Tomic on the verge of greatness".

How about we just wait and see instead of building up the pressure on this guy?

Agreed, very poor English. Shouldn't it be "on the cusp of greatness" ?
