Ex-unionist MP milks pinko purse

"Prime Minister Julia Gillard continues to stand by an embattled MP accused of misusing a union credit card amid claims the ALP'S NSW branch forked out $90,000 so he could avoid bankruptcy.

The federal opposition upped its attack on Craig Thomson on Wednesday knowing that if he is declared bankrupt and forced to stand down it could lead to a by-election and bring down the hung parliament.

The member for the marginal NSW central coast seat Dobell is under pressure for authorising the use of a union credit card to pay for prostitutes. Mr Thomson claims a third party had used the card."

Crooked Unionist pinkos - who'da thunk?

Is the pinko House of Cards starting to feel the effects of ill winds?

" Mr Thomson claims a third party had used the card"

I thought the claim was a third (and possibly fourth , fifth , sixth etc) party had used the prostitutes

Hilditch is a lawyer and a selector - ergo the most hated man in Australia.

Thomson:

fecking on the job
fecking on the job using other people's money
lying about it afterwards

In other words, he shows outstanding leadership qualities and I am not surprised to see the support he is receiving.

This guys story is unravelling faster than Bob Brown's zipper at the glory wall!

NSW police say they will investigate allegations that federal Labor MP Craig Thomson misused his union credit card.

"Shadow attorney-general George Brandis has provided information to police in relation to a number of matters concerning a federal Labor MP," police said in a statement today.

"This correspondence has now been referred for internal assessment to determine whether a criminal offence has occurred."

Advertisement: Story continues below Mr Thomson is alleged to have used a credit card issued to him when he was head of the Health Services Union to pay for the services of prostitutes.

He denies the allegation and says another person, whom he has not named, used the card at brothels.

NSW Police say "standardised assessment and investigation protocols" will be followed in their investigation.

Stan Howard's speciality as a company director was running companies into the ground. When one of them (can't remember which, though it was a biggie) went tits up Howard authorised federal Govt funds to secure the workforce entitlements. Something he had refused to do for other companies. It allowed Stan to avoid being banned from being a company director.

It's a family thing. Howard's father was involved in a land scam in New Guinea prior to the second world war or just after it, can't remember which. The local administration wanted to fry him.
