Don't think Federer has the belief he can close out Grand Slams against Djokovic and Nadal any more. Along with losing quarter-finals to players he really shouldn't be losing to. Could this be the moment he chooses to call it a day? Better to go out still almost at the top rather than ranked 25 and losing to nobodies in a couple of years' time.

The top four must have been pretty much the same for about 4 years now. Djokovic has obviously taken a step up from number 3 or 4 to become the top man this year, but perhaps surprising no young player has really made the jump into world class for that long. Del Potro threatened to I suppose but injury stopped his progress.

Hard to see Fed winning another Slam so he may well call it a day after the Olympics next year.

Potentially a couple of farewell Wimbledons for him within a few weeks of each other... I suppose he may as well go on for next year's US Open if he's going for the Olympics as it's only a month or so after.

Do I have this right? The men, who play heir final on MONDAY, get to play their semi finals Saturday day session, while the women, who play their final on SUNDAY, play their semi finals Saturday night?
