The 'music' choices are woeful this year.

Fortunately by half time, I usually need to visit the used beer department.

I'm sure I will be visiting the kitchen and fridge at half time. Plus this guy has a hot tub, so that's always an option.

At least I've managed to jag the day off work for it. (The game kicks off here around 10am on Monday.) And next week is turning out to be a pretty good one after that. I'm off to Melbourne to see Roger Waters in concert, performing 'The Wall' on Tuesday night. Hopefully his performance will be better than Rahul Dravid's poor imitation of The Wall...

Then I'm off to Perth for a ~~junket~~ special project with work for the rest of the week.

Junket! I just got back from Barbados, where fortunately the son of the people we were staying with is a big football fan, so we got to watch the game. It was a junket of sorts.

so here it is, Merry Superbowl, everybody's having...

pre-game starts at 1pm. That's a 5 hours straight build up for this game. Man oh man I have better things to do. Probly definitely going the beer, wings and pizza route tonight though. mmmm, pizza.

ESPN NFL Countdown started at 2am here, running till 6am. Fortunately they're now repeating it, which takes us up to proper game coverage. Kick off is 10.30am.

I assume it'll be the NBC coverage from around 30 minutes before game start, but it might be the NFL Global feed. I don't care who's talking, as long as the Pats do the job properly this time around.

Strange opening drive. Manning 4 for 4 from passing but was sacked twice and the rushing managed a net 1 yard in 4 rushes.
