If I can hit the road by 6.20 it makes a major difference. I think Skully has a similiar problem.

Neither have we (when the boss is around).
The 2nd Steyn wicket was a dipper followed by a ducker. Set him up a treat. What a f*cking awesome bowler. Just awesome. Wish we'd stolen him.

19.6
Philander to Clarke, no run, shoulders arms outside off as Vernon buzzes away from a length at good pace. This is groovy stuff.
WTF is Dello when we need him.

^ I think you've got your answer... haven't you noticed he's hardly here since that Cricinfo renown? Haven't you 'done the math'? They've obviously asked him to do some work for them.

Then he must up his game judging by the above.

The worst thing is Clarke said he would have batted anyway.
OK, it's not the worst thing but it's still sh1t.

Steyn has bowled brilliantly at Clarke; loves right handers. If they get through this tough session and with Hussey to come, Australia could yet end the day in good position. Off to bed now! Stuff work!

dammit. This is the first series I actually want to watch since I've been in barren-cricket land.
Dale takes one ball to rid Saf of their bowling mediocrity.

Not the Anglo-India? For shame Jill. I shall only reply to you with '.'s from now on.
Aye, Stale Dane's really class... I see Clarke has been making some runs... he's now 'the man'.

Re: South Africa v Australia, 1st Test, Cape Town, 9-13 November, 2011
Cheesy Bechamel Sauce Snorkel gets Killeen Hussey. Aus are f'd, giganto-style, at 162/5
Re: South Africa v Australia, 1st Test, Cape Town, 9-13 November, 2011
Haddin's sh!t. Still, he was facing the almighty Steyn. 180/6. Stale Dane's now got 4/26... unfortunately I've noticed he's sporting the start of a gay Mitch Johnno / Jade Dirty sleeve tattoo. So my support of him has waned slightly.

great hundred by clarke after struggling for the first few overs. probably his best since his debut match?

It must be up there... a run a ballish ton in these circumstances.. 200-odd/7, bowlers and conditions... quality knock.
Re: South Africa v Australia, 1st Test, Cape Town, 9-13 November, 2011
Well played to Clarke. He's proving the doubters (including me) wrong on this form under pressure.
Sounds like a heroic effort by Steyn too. Possibly slightly cheaped by the three Philander wickets, but what can you do?
Talking of "do", Aus seems to be in plenty of it. Despite the captain's innings.

And they're off again.

Honours probably close to even. Top knock by Clarke but you sensed the bowlers were short of a gallop. Surprised by Philander but it was a bowlers wicket. Steyn will get better but. The light came at the right time for SA.

Aye, one has got to say that I'm a massive Clarke-doubter - never rated him, for the fact I don't think he's scored many tough runs. He's on his way to getting a pos rep from me.
