Re: Rugby League 2012
Sheens quits
"Tim Sheens has quit as Wests Tigers coach following a revolt from his players.
He reached a settlement with the club on Monday to walk away after 10 years at the helm.
Sheens told Tigers players on Monday afternoon he was no longer going to be involved at the club, and speculation immediately turned to him possibly switching to the New Zealand Warriors."
----------------------------------------------------
At least he won 'em a Premiership, which is more than Brian Smith has ever achieved, anywhere.

Re: Rugby League 2012
FMD, what's with these donkeys?
"Video referee Sean Hampstead could be relieved of his duties for the third time this year after NRL referees' boss Bill Harrigan admitted to yet another botched call from his officials.
Hampstead's hopes of taking part in Sunday's grand final between Canterbury-Bankstown and Melbourne appear over, Harrigan claiming the decision to award Billy Slater's first try in Melbourne's 40-12 thumping of Manly in Friday night's preliminary final was incorrect."
-----------------------------------------------
Jeezus H Crikey, these video ref qunts allow slo-mo to over-ride commonsense. Everyone except them could see that Slater lost control of the ball. But the twits ruled "no separation". What a crock.

I don't know what made me larf harder - hearing the leeeg had Good Chalotte for half time or hearing Terry Kennedy say he thinks they have the half time entertainment right.
Are they catering for 12 year old girls now?

Maybe he means that no one in the ground will know wtf they are so wont be distracted from the important half time business of talking about the match and complaining about the refs.

That makes it a double for me. I'd never heard of the band that played at the AFL either.

How the mighty have fallen. Danial Mortimer running around for the Jets in the NSW Cup GF right now. Interestingly teams 7 and 8 are battling for the Flag.

Goodish game. Tigers looked like they could run away with it at any stage but the mighty Jets clung on.
