Looking at the replay, Webber was unlucky because surely pole position should be on the same side of the track as the first bend. It's not in Korea which gives a massive advantage to the driver in P2.

Rosberg also out.

Still, Webber is as crap a starter as Phil Hughes.

At least it justifies his decision to leave McLaren - they haven't won a driver's or constructor's title since Ron Dennis left, and there's no suggestion that they're going to do so any time soon.

It's the same every season: they either start with a piece of junk which they can only get working towards the back end of the campaign once the championships are virtually decided, or they have a decent car which they can't fully capitalise on due to a series of poor tactical decisions, pit-crew malfunctions and mysterious non-perfomances over race distance, only to then gradually fall backwards in the second half of the season as everyone else catches up and overtakes them while they stagnate.

Mercedes are a good bet, long term. Ross Brawn knows his onions.
