Formula One Season 2016
Bahrain Grand Prix
Vettel out of the race on the warm-up lap. Engine failure probably.
Collision at the start between Hamilton & Bottas. The latter incurring a drive through penalty.

China Grand Prix
Good start for Ricciardo taking the lead at the first corner.
No so good for Hamilton who was involved in some contact resulting in a bit of damage to his car.

Re: Formula One Season 2016
Sunday's race: Hamilton involved in another first-lap collision, this time taking himself out, as well as Rosberg. So Red Bull and Ferrari capitalise. Bravo young Verstappen; a debut win.
If LH keeps knocking Rosberg out of the race rather than letting him win, the title fight might yet get interesting.

A pit stop stuff up by Red Bull costs Ricciardo the lead.

Re: Formula One Season 2016
Would be fuming, whilst it makes the title race more interesting and there was some great defensive driving from Hamilton, there's no excuse at this level to not have the tyres ready.

Re: Formula One Season 2016
Not surprisingly, Ricciardo was fuming at the end of the race. Just an appalling stuff up.

Hamilton wins in Austria after an action-packed final lap. Rossberg had a narrow lead but when Hamilton tried to pass, their cars came together causing more damage to Rossberg's car & as a result he was also overtaken by Verstappen & Raikonnen & finished fourth.

Thought it was probably Rossberg's fault today. Hamilton had position.
The team boss was unimpressed.

Can't see Bernie forking out $49m for the mother in law...
Bernie Ecclestone's mother-in-law Aparecida Schunck kidnapped in Sao Paulo: reports
The mother-in-law of Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone has been kidnapped in Sao Paulo and criminals are demanding 120 million reais ($49 million) in ransom, according to reports in a leading Brazilian news magazine.
Aparecida Schunck, the mother of Ecclestone's wife, Fabiana Flosi, was seized in the Brazilian city on Friday night, Globo, Veja and other news organisations reported.
It did not give more details, and local police could not be reached to confirm the reports.
Ecclestone, who Forbes magazine estimates is worth $US3.1 billion ($4.15 billion) - along with his family - and one of the most powerful men in sport, married Flosi in 2012, three years after meeting her at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Ecclestone, who is now 85, divorced his then wife of 25 years, Croatian model Slavica Radic, in order to marry the young Brazilian. The couple now live in England.
Kidnapping was common in Brazil a decade ago with several people seized each day, often for sums of just a few hundred dollars.
A crackdown by police, including the formation of a special anti-kidnap division, reduced the number considerably.
Brazil is currently in the midst of its worst economic crisis in decades.
News of the kidnap comes a day after New Zealander Jason Lee said he'd been kidnapped by men in police uniforms and forced to hand over money withdrawn from ATMs in Brazil's Olympic host city Rio de Janeiro.

Would'nt suprise me if mum arranged for her own kidnapping. The daughter is obviously a gold digger.

Only if Bernie doesn't call her bluff. He's traded up on wives before.

Re: Formula One Season 2016
Just 3 races to go - Mexico, Brazil, and Abu Dhabi.
Rosberg and Hamilton have a comfortable lead over Ricciardo, and it seems unlikely that the top 3 will alter at this stage. Next weekend's race will firm things up if Rosberg finishes ahead of Hamilton.
I still miss the season finishing in Australia.

Abu Dhabi is double points so things can change quickly if you have a DNF there.
