Will be a wonder if Kingfisher and Mallya stay on as sponsors of Force India for too long.

Best race of the season last night. And for once, a genuinely great, come-from-behind drive from Vettel to come from last place (starting from the pits) to finish third.

Not the right thread, but I'm not sure there is one ...
Casey Stoner retires after a podium finish. Retired at what age, you ask?
Anyway - a fine competitor.

It was either an incredibly smart and mature decision or a completely stupid one. Considering his profession it could be either...

Re: Formula One 2012
The Massa gearbox trick was rather against the spirit of the rules but certainly within them. The question is could they penalise one driver in a team for the actions of the other? Vettel only needs to finish fourth, so the temptation for someone at Ferrari to ask Massa to take him out if he gets close during the race or get in his way in qualifying etc. must be there... Alonso wasn't punished for Piquet Jr's deliberate crash to assist him at Renault, as there was no evidence he knew about it.

Either Formula 1 has to be the worst in drafting rules or the teams are the best at finding loopholes. Should be both, but there's something dodged nearly every year. Blown diffuser to this.beamer wrote:The Massa gearbox trick was rather against the spirit of the rules but certainly within them.
