Classic stuff from CBA today in the Senate hearing into ASIC re a couple of their dodgy financial advisers. One was promoted AFTER allegations of his dodginess were made. The reason for his promotion?

Because CBA wanted to keep him away from clients!

Well I was only half joking. The two it turned out I'm stuck with don't seem to have done too badly. Apart from the GFC which I'm assuming just farked everyone on the planet anyway.

Lots of chatter on markets about some top Bankers and Treasury dudes around the world commenting that current market conditions are similar to pre-GFC circumstances in terms of lack of volatility.

Really?? ASX has been up and down like a honeymoon dick.

But the qunt dropped 40 points today for no good reason.

Thoughts?
