To be fair though, Derby's number 10 Poynton is actually a wicket-keeper batsman who showed considerable promise at under 19 level. It's not like he's some sort of Sajid Mahmood-type slogger number 10.

As for t'weather, it looked beautiful pitchside, but when you saw a stand shot there was the nastiest of clouds to the left... sort of a deep blue. Doesn't look good at all.
