Ah, too little patience with the ways of the female heart.
As for the second, in view of this and Snow White, I am not sure how to take this request.
But the serious answer is not tonight, Josephine. I'm working on a couple of sets (cricket, not what you're thinking), but this is like upgrades working in the background. Not ready even to resize pics, badge up, upload to hosting site and then stick them on here yet.
And odd pics also, none momentarily on tap.
Maybe tomorrow.
A propos Josephine - I didn't know that about her imperial orders not to wash. How very Gallic.

Saw an ep of QI tonight where they were debunking Napolean myths. Think that got a mention, Probably true. Grotty little upstart.
Well in the absence of triv you force me back to work. Work me no works.

A few questions about a single picture.
1) Location, year?
2) Why is the batsman wearing non-black colours?
3) Why is the bowler grinning? (Other than "because he's feeling happy".)
4) The umpire is reaching for his back pocket. Why?

First twenty20 match. Auckland.
Fleming
Everyone was grinning like an insane idiot that day. Although, it looks like McGrath's mimicking Trevor Chappell.
Yellow Card?

1) First (Men's) international T20, yes, and yes.
*(Year?)
2) It doesn't look like Flem. And I think he was long gone by the time of this mock-incident.
* But that wasn't the question!
3) Indeed. 1 Feb 1981, prominent in Cricket's Annals of Shame.
4) Red, I am told!

Re: Trivia & Quizzia 2013 (an occasional series, by whoever wishes)
Hmmm. Well half of the second one is right!
- Details:
Q2 wasn't about which player, but the batting side's kit colour.
The NZ kit is "retro", returning to their original ODI gear (see 1981 photo) - they had by that time moved on to all-black.
Details of the match:
Australia v NZ, only T20, Eden Park, Auckland,17 February 2005.
http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/211048.html
Craig McMillan: "This was the first-ever Twenty20 international, and a fun event. We were wearing fake moustaches and hair - except for Hamish Marshall, whose frizzy hair was real. With the match all but won, Glenn McGrath revisited the history of underarm bowling between Australia and New Zealand. When he ran in to bowl the last ball, he shaped to bowl underarm, but held on to the ball. Look at Billy Bowden in the background. His reaction was special. He actually produced a red card and showed it to McGrath, soccer-style."

This one might also go on the 'Funny Pics' thread.
While the context must tell any cricket follower that a bowler is celebrating his dismissal of the batsman, on the face of it (= purely visually) it looks more as if the latter is rather disgustedly scraping a large show pony off his shoe.
The questions:
1. Batsman?
2. Year?
3. Location?

Yeah you gotta hand it to the Sheep, they really got into the festivities for that initial T20. Most of the Shaggers grew retro moes and hairdos, and did their very best 80s impressions.

Cracking photo. The art of cricket photography ain't the same with the 100 shots a second digital cameras these days. In my teens my bookcase was filled with Patrick Eagar (and others) books of celebrations of great cricketing moments, caught at the instant they happened.
I remember one of Alan Hurst that blew him away. He had no idea all of him was so far of the ground in his bowling delivery follow-through. It was the full shot of one like this - both Hurst's feet were a foot or so off the ground...

Something to do with tons and Michelles v Aust?
I was going to say matchwinning tons but then saw that SRT was on the list.
