On the cricket show, Proctor says the umpires didn't hear it themselves, so it'll be Ponting and Symonds' word against Harby.

If you're not offended by something, should you report it? The way Symonds and Clarke were joking around about things just a few minutes later, I think it's safe to say that Symonds wasn't thoroughly insulted by what Harbhajan said.

Of course, Ponting's knickers were in a twist, and naturally, Hayden felt the need to walk up and get involved.....

How would you know what Symonds felt?If it was an Indian that Symonds used the term to,you would be on here screaming for his ban.

I am always amused to see people presume to know what another person's emotions are.

Well, in India a few months back Symonds said he wasn't offended by the monkey chants. Suddenly Australia are on the back foot in a test match and he's completely outraged? Well, I guess it figures.....

If it is proved that Harby made a racist remark, ban his a$$ forever. Make an example out of him.

But it has to be proved. A lot of people are taking positions and making assumptions before this is proved and that is unfair to Harby.
