Re: ICC Champions Trophy 2013
Whatever we think of Watto, he is still far more technically correct than GCS and Con. I'm hoping he can get past the "brain fade at 30 runs" problem he's had for the past 2 years in Tests.

In the Tests? Can I have some of what you're smoking, Pete?
But aye, if you are referring to the ICCCT.

India can do a lot of damage in this competition. There must be a bit of "anger" to restore credibility and more importantly they have a bowling attack that can be very handy in damp English conditions! While batting on the other hand is class as usual.

Waksters snotted the SAffies in a warm up last night. Yarps slumped to 7-83 at one point, before scraping up 202, which Pakistan made in a doddle.

Must admit, my first thoughts turned to a few players making some quick cash.

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 2013
The Pakistani pace bowling was too much for SA who didn't play well at all
Amazingly Pakistan may drop M Irfan for the 1st ODI against WI and play Asad Ali and Wahab Riaz along with Junaid. Riaz is very quick(no Shoaib Akhtar though) and also quite useful with the bat so if fit he will certainly play against the WI.

So if this weather keeps up, 300 looks like being par for the tournament. England must be shitting themselves.

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 2013
Clarke's back has flared up again, I see. There now must be serious doubts as to how much cricket he has left in him. Guys like Athers and Thorpe retired around the age of 33-34 because of dodgy backs. Clarke's 32 already....

If Oz win back-to-back series and he's back on his back because of his back, maybe.

Yeah. Bit of turbulence. Still, 34-6 is not out of it yet.
Foxy Maxy, Cowpoke Clint and the ever-reliable Midge still to bat.

And looking on the bright side, Wade and Watson can both boast a good strike rate.

Zoiks!
I saw Mitch Marsh's lolloping dobs in the last over - Dernbach has a kindred spirit.

Deary me, Aussies just as crap as England today. Can see the Ashes being won by the team that has slightly less crap days than the other at this rate.
