It's of little consequence. The Giles bandwagon rolls with increasing speed downhill to Gashville.
Elvis loved the place. I don't share his sentiment.

Nah, may as well leave Stokes out of this one as well. The way this tour has gone, he'll probably get a career-threatening injury in this meaningless dead rubber.

Don't let him within punching or kicking distance of Giles, or he might get suspended again.

Quite appropriate that the tour finishes on Groundhog Day...

Case SOLVED. Just fly in the Warks team and put them out on the field.

Ridiculous that this game is a night time game.
Would have liked to take BabyK1 to it but wouldn't be home until midnight and it is a school day the next day.

I have yet to get to a game at Homebush. Twice I got past the Rhodes Bridge (within 2 kms of the ground) but turned around because the traffic hadn't moved in 20 minutes, and a 3rd time when I didn't even get as far as Victoria Rd (5 kms away). Each time I set out intending to be at the ground an hour before the first ball.
Qunt of a cricket ground and qunt of a cricket ground to get to (at least from the Norf).

Went to the Olympics there but by train, however, went by car to a Swans/Pies game in 2005 and the traffic was horrendous. Was surprised how close one got to the play though. It does always look like a better place for cows than athletes.

Been to the Rugger several times but always went by train. Never had any problems.
Re: Australia v England, 3rd T20I, Sydney, 2 February, 2014
It's a long round trip on the train from up Norf, but I'll bear that in mind.
Been to 3 NRL games and the trip & the parking was great, but as a viewing venue, I found it ordinary, or maybe it was just that RL is a boring live spectator sport, especially when there was only 10,000 there in an 80,000 stadium.

On the positive side, Stokes finally gets a game.

Batting at number eight, probably.
Isn't it supposed to be a slow, spinning wicket? How many spinners have England picked? Of course. None.
The future, people. Ashley Giles. Brilliant.

What is wrong with the ground staff at this ground? The outfield in cricket matches has always been a bag of shit.
