Against Australia A, which became Australia B, then Australia C, then Australia D, then just a random bunch of blokes who work out.
Andy Flower got gunned for losing one of his last five Test series.
Giles has a record (W-D-L) of 1-1-3 in his last five ODI series, and 1-2-2 in his last five T20 series.
For anyone counting, he's won two of ten series. Or lost 50% of them.
Awful player, no better as a coach, yet somehow has stayed at the forefront of English cricket for getting on for 15 years - and now with the opportunity to infect it with his brand of awfulness right from the top table.

I'm wondering whether they purposefully picked as many blokes as they could to make skully work overtime on creating stupid nicknames.

Yeah, it was getting very confusing by the end, "No-Show" anyone? Could have applied to the whole England team, that one...

That's some mean T20 cricketing right there.
If only he'd batted like that in the Tests

And so are a couple of the players.
More good news.
Unless Gilo believes in them, in defiance of all evidence.

That is one of the simpler ones tbf.
Maxwell - bigging himself up for the cameras, the IPL and Aus - proudly calls himself "The Big Show".
Hence (and esp when - until vs. this shabby England outfit - his performances have generally a bit less resounding than his tagline) he rather deserves the bathos of a nickname such as Skully suggests.
Though personally, I prefer "The Big Showoff". (But maybe the latter is only UK English: "showoff" = boaster, braggart, showboater)

At least Petey keeps up. Aus supporters have been calling Maxwell NoShow since we first learnt of his self-appointed nickname of Big Show.
But I understand the tetchiness - it's been a retched tour.
